Our client is looking to fill the role of Contract Manager for their operation in Kurdistan. The incumbent will be mission oriented team player with a proven ability to establish and negotiate contractual agreements for the company. Also would be responsible to oversee projects and monitor progress against work plan and Budget.

The ideal candidate will be engineer with prior experience in Contract department. Experience in Project management/ construction/ oil & gas industry is mandatory.

Job Description

Major responsibilities are:

  • Participation in contract negotiations.
  • Monitoring and administering the implementation of all contracts to their conclusions.
  • Coordination with the sales and the accounts departments for the administration of timely financial settlement of all contracts.

Other duties are:

  • Work hard to reach resolutions and agreements with customers and suppliers. 
  • Negotiating and managing external and internal procurement and contracting arrangements. 
  • Identify procurement opportunities and ensuring these opportunities are evaluated and progressed. 
  • Evaluating the needs of customers and clients. 
  • Facilitating the re-negotiation of existing contracts. 
  • Contributing to the business development of the company. 
  • Making sure that all procurement and contracting activities are carried out in accordance with legislation & company policy. 
  • Safeguarding the companies interests. 
  • Conducting investigations into any contractual disputes. 
  • Define, maintain and improve the bid process of the Company. 
  • Monitoring contract budgets & forecasts. 
  • Participating in contractual negotiations. 
  • Making amendments to contractual documents. 
  • Overseeing and signing off contractual invoices.
