AMI’s March Entrepreneur of the Month
11th March 2021
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, meet Lucy Mary Athieno. A participant in the AMI Survive to Thrive Programme and the Founder of Eco-Pads Uganda. A firm that manufactures reusable sanitary pads and has produced over 3million pads supporting over 2 million girls in Uganda. Lucy is also a champion of menstrual health, having trained over 10,000 young people including male teachers on menstrual health.
Listen to how Lucy has been able to find opportunities and grow her business while creating an impact.
